About BedrockCalc

BedrockCalc is an independent collection of free financial calculators built around one belief: everyday money decisions deserve tools that are fast, accurate, and honest about how they work.

How the calculators work

Every calculator runs entirely in your browser. Nothing you type is uploaded, stored, or shared with us — your numbers stay on your device. Each tool shows the formula it uses in a “How this is calculated” section, and every formula is verified by an automated test suite against independently computed reference values before any change goes live.

What we don’t do

We never compute government tax liabilities, and we don’t give personal financial advice. Results are educational estimates — for decisions involving significant money, consult a qualified professional who can consider your full situation.

Why free?

Every calculator is free — no accounts, no paywalls and no feature gates — and right now the site carries no advertising at all. We plan to introduce ads in the future to cover what it costs to run and keep improving; the calculators stay free either way, and nothing you type will ever be part of that. Formulas and defaults carry a “last reviewed” date so you can always judge freshness.
